Regency Omak Rehabilitation & Nursing seeks a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive challenges in compliance with state and federal guidelines.

You will plan and administer medically prescribed therapy, review referrals, and perform initial evaluations including OASIS assessments. Join a compassionate, in-house rehab team dedicated to individualized resident care.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited school of speech pathology and language disorders.
• Licensed as a speech-language pathologist by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology or accrediting body.

Aufgaben

• Plans and administers medically prescribed speech therapy treatment for patients with speech, language and swallowing problems.
• Evaluates speech and language skills as related to medical, social and psychological factors.
• Reviews physician orders and patient records to determine speech therapy needs.
• Performs initial patient evaluation and documents OASIS assessments at appropriate times.
• Plans and prepares written treatment plans with input from physician, patient, and caregiver(s).
• Delivers direct or rehabilitative treatment to restore communicative ability, considering organic and non-organic etiologies.
• Performs other duties as requested.
