Job summary

The Healthcare Resort of Olathe in Olathe, KS, is seeking a Full Time Speech-Language Pathologist for our in-house rehab program. The role involves screening and evaluating patients with physical functioning disorders, delivering skilled rehabilitation, and generating discharge summaries in a post-acute care setting.

Qualifications

• Speech-Language Pathologist license required.
• Open to SLPs at all experience levels; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care; develop care plans.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions.
• Assist with regular standing and walking, lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment as needed.
• Administer rehabilitation procedures including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other providers.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries compliant with regulatory and clinical requirements.
