Job summary

Regency Omak Rehabilitation & Nursing in Omak, WA seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to evaluate, plan, and administer therapy services in accordance with state and federal standards. You will document care, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and promote evidence-based practices to enhance resident outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must have licensure to practice physical therapy in the state served.
• Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and training support staff.

Responsibilities

• The Physical Therapist evaluates, plans, organizes and administers physical therapy services in accordance with current standards to ensure high-quality care.
• Maintain documentation and records management and work collaboratively with all disciplines.
• Adhere to professional standards of practice and code of ethics as set forth by the state board.
• Support Assistants with periodic training and guidance to promote patient care.
• Provide therapeutic procedures and a full range of therapy services in support of referrals and ensure timely patient care.
• Plan and prepare written treatment programs based on patient evaluation and administer exercises to improve function.
• Instruct, motivate, and assist patients in performing activities and use of devices; assess prosthetics/orthotics as needed.
• Record treatment, response, and progress in patient charts and coordinate with physicians as required.
