Vast is developing next-generation space stations and space infrastructure, including Haven and Vast Satellite, to enable a new space economy for government, corporate, and private customers. This role supports in-house legal leadership for defense, intelligence, and allied customers.

The Associate General Counsel will lead national security and satellite transactions, advise on regulatory regimes, and align legal strategy with business goals in a full-time position based in Long Beach, CA or

Competenze

U.S. government contracts and national security transactions experience.
Knowledge of FAR/DFARS frameworks for defense programs.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
Strong written and verbal communication, and judgment under pressure.

Mansioni

Advise on and negotiate DoD, Space Force, SDA, NRO contracts and OTAs from capture to closeout.
Structure and negotiate high-value satellite and space systems transactions.
Support international and allied engagements balancing export controls and commercial aims.
Provide business-oriented legal guidance to enable rapid but controlled execution.
