Evolve Therapy Services in Key West, FL is hiring a Physical Therapy Assistant to join an in-house Skilled Nursing Facility team. The PTA provides services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, conducts screenings, assists with evaluations, and helps develop and implement treatment plans to improve residents' mobility, strength, and function.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in state(s) of practice.
• Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure and certification.
• Commitment to resident care and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to residents under the direct supervision of the Physical Therapist.
• Conduct screenings of residents to determine need for intervention/treatment.
• Assist in evaluations and in developing short- and long-term goals and treatment plans.
• Conduct individual and group treatment as outlined in the plan.
• Assist in selecting techniques and medi­­a and adapt as indicated.
• Monitor residents' response to intervention and adjust as needed.
