Job summary

WET Design seeks a skilled Service Engineer for its Oarsman Systems. This in-house role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, testing, and improving sophisticated proprietary devices and control systems, with limited travel to support complex commissions or field issues.

The ideal candidate combines deep electrical and controls knowledge with practical mechanical judgment. You will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and field teams to ensure reliability and performance of the equipment,

Qualifications

Bachelor-level or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field.
Progressive experience in electrical/electromechanical repair, controls, and service engineering.
Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical power, industrial controls, and automation equipment.
Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings, schematics, and BOMs.
Fluent English communication, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

Serve as in-house technical expert for Oarsman devices and other proprietary WET equipment.
Diagnose and repair complex equipment returned from field sites, covering electrical, electronic, controls, mechanical, hydraulics, and water systems.
Develop and execute bench-test procedures, acceptance tests, burn-in tests, and verification plans.
Use diagnostic tools and software to review faults, update firmware, and validate HMI functions.
Document technical work clearly and create troubleshooting guides and reports.
