Job summary

WET (Design) / WET Care Legacy is seeking a Service Engineer to become the in‑house technical authority for Oarsman and other complex proprietary devices. The role centers on diagnosing, repairing, and improving high‑end show‑control equipment, with travel limited to essential commissioning or critical issues.

You will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and field teams to ensure reliability, safety, and maintainability of WET’s systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in electrical, controls, automation, or related repair/service engineering fields.
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting with electrical power, controls, automation equipment, and electromechanical systems.
• Fluent English communication, written and verbal, with ability to document work clearly.

Responsibilities

• Own the in‑house repair and recovery process for complex WET equipment, investigating failures and restoring operation.
• Diagnose failures at component, assembly, system, and controls levels; determine root causes and implement fixes.
• Develop bench‑test procedures, acceptance tests, and verification plans before equipment goes back into service.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting guidance to field teams and coordinate with engineering and manufacturing to implement design improvements.
