Job description

Are you a tech-savvy and detail-oriented paralegal seeking a new opportunity? If so, this could be your next move.

Latitude is working with a leading company that is adding a Senior Paralegal to its Legal Department in Nashville. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of paralegal experience in licensing, transactional, or compliance work, either at a well-regarded law firm or in-house in a highly regulated industry. This is a hands-on role with three pillars: own the licensing program, including tracking deadlines and preparing applications, transfers, and renewals across all 51 U.S. jurisdictions; serve as steward of an extensive contract template library and drive its migration into a Contract Lifecycle Management platform; and provide in-depth support to the in-house attorneys on corporate, transactional, litigation, and compliance matters, from regulatory research to audits and subpoena responses.

Successful implementation of the CLM platform is the primary objective of this role for the first six to nine months. This is a tech-forward legal department: expect to use AI, automation, and modern legal tech to build your own workflows rather than wait for someone else to build them for you.

This is an onsite role in Nashville, TN.

  • Exceptional organization, deadline management, and attention to detail, with demonstrated ability to run multiple long-term projects while handling urgent matters on a compressed timeline
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the discretion to handle confidential and privileged matters
  • Experience mentoring direct reports is a plus
  • Experience in real estate brokerage, brokerage licensing, or another highly regulated industry is a plus, but not required
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent paralegal certification/training is preferred
  • Outstanding professional references
