Job summary

Latitude is seeking an in-house Real Estate & Project Development Attorney to join its Nashville team. This role targets a commercial real estate attorney who can lead site control and land use transactions from start to finish, advising project development, external affairs, and project finance groups.

Candidates should have 6+ years of real estate experience, strong deal execution, and active bar admission.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of real estate experience at a top-tier law firm or comparable in‑house legal department
• Substantial, independent experience with purchase and sale transactions, title and survey review, and closing
• Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment
• Excellent analytical, written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across cross‑functional business teams
• Renewable energy experience is a plus, but not required
• Active bar admission in good standing in at least one state
• Excellent academic credentials from an ABA-accredited law school
• Outstanding professional references from former supervisors

Responsibilities

• Manage purchase options, easements, and closings from start to finish with real ownership over deal flow
• Lead site control and land use transactions independently
