Job summary

Reyes Holdings seeks an in-house Real Estate Attorney to support its extensive real estate portfolio, including development, acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and commercial leasing. The role involves drafting and negotiating complex contracts and financing documents, offering strategic legal input, and collaborating with executives and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school is required.
• Active state bar admission and eligibility for in-house practice in Illinois are required.
• 4–6 years of real estate or corporate attorney experience desirable.
• Strong ethics and ability to build relationships with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and draft construction contracts, financing agreements, LOIs, purchase/sale agreements, and leases.
• Draft and negotiate commercial contracts (professional services agreements, master service agreements).
• Draft and negotiate financing documents (credit agreements, notes, mortgages).
• Advise business leaders on real estate terms, property management issues, and regulations.
• Travel up to 10% and perform other duties as assigned.
