• Provide practical, business-focused legal guidance to executive leadership and internal stakeholders.
• Support corporate governance and ongoing real estate investment and property management activities.
• Collaborate across departments to facilitate transactions and coordinate with outside counsel.

We’re partnering with a well-established, privately held commercial real estate investment and management company seeking an experienced In-House Counsel to join its growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercial real estate attorney looking to transition in-house or an experienced in-house attorney who enjoys being closely involved in the business side of real estate transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial leases, property management agreements, and related real estate documents.
• Manage legal aspects of commercial property acquisitions and dispositions throughout the transaction lifecycle.
• Provide practical, business-focused legal guidance to executive leadership and internal stakeholders.
• Support corporate governance and ongoing real estate investment and property management activities.
• Collaborate across departments to facilitate transactions, resolve legal matters, and support business objectives.
• Coordinate with outside counsel as needed.

What We're Looking For

• 2-5 Years experience, Juris Doctor (J.D.) and active Florida Bar membership required.
• Experience in commercial real estate law, ideally within a law firm or in-house environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with commercial property acquisitions, dispositions, and lease drafting and negotiations.
• Ability to independently manage real estate transactions and provide practical legal solutions.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Detail-oriented, commercially minded, and comfortable working directly with senior leadership.
• High level of professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
