Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited 2-year PTA program approved by the APTA.
• Current, unencumbered PTA license required.
• Experience providing PT interventions under supervision of a licensed PT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide PT individualized treatment plans and updates under supervision.
• Communicate changes in residents' condition.
• Provide accurate billing records and documentation in medical records.
• Coordinate and train Restorative Nursing and care staff.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and community partners on therapies.
• Ensure compliance with mandatory education and competence programs.
• Perform screening rounds as directed by the Director of Rehabilitation.
• Offer recommendations for safety, efficiency, or process improvements.
