Job summary

Creative Solutions in Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide patient-centered care to help residents improve mobility and quality of life under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

The ideal candidate holds a Texas PTA license, has knowledge of PT treatment practices, and prefers SNF or long-term care settings. Net Health experience is a plus, and strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Active and valid Texas PTA license.
• In good standing with regulatory boards.
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of current physical therapy treatment practices.
• Experience with Net Health EDS preferred.
• Ability to manage patients with varying needs.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain and improve function.
• Provide skilled PT services under supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Respond to requests for service and relay information to the PT.
• Implement and modify plans of care under PT supervision.
• Measure and record patients' motor function, strength, and muscle performance.
• Monitor patient response and adjust approaches with the care team.
• Provide clinical support and education to patients and families.
• Ensure documentation complies with policies and regulations.
• Attend required Rehab Director meetings.
