Continuum Rehab Group is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our in-house therapy team serving Skilled Nursing/Long Term Care Facilities in Alamogordo. This role focuses on delivering high-quality rehabilitation under the guidance of a Physical Therapist, with a path to mentorship and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Licensed PTA required.
• Experience level open (all levels accepted).
• Active license to practice physical therapy.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
• Provides rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment per regulatory and clinical requirements under supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Provides skilled therapy services to patients needing rehabilitation.
• Assesses and documents patient progress and communicates with supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatments.
• Provides consultation to patients and families regarding physical disorders.
• Supports discharge planning with supervisor per regulatory and clinical requirements.
