Jobot is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our Gardena, CA team on-site. This permanent role covers full-cycle payroll processing, including hours, overtime, deductions, and tax withholdings.

The position offers stable hours and strong growth potential in a construction-focused company. Requirements include 3+ years of in-house payroll experience, familiarity with FICA tax compliance (940/941), and the ability to work on-site five days a week in the Torrance/Gardena area.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on, in-house payroll processing experience.
• Experience with construction payroll is preferred.
• Strong understanding of FICA and payroll tax compliance (940/941).

Responsibilities

• Own full cycle, in-house payroll from start to finish, including hours and deductions.
• Process manual and electronic timecards.
• Cut manual checks and process garnishments.
