Job summary

Redwood Living, Inc. is seeking a Paralegal to provide high-level legal, operational, administrative, and strategic support to the VP Legal Counsel – Operations and in-house counsel.

The role covers contract administration, corporate governance, litigation, real estate matters, Fair Housing compliance, and collaboration with Loan Operations, HR, and Acquisitions teams. Strong organizational, confidential handling, and Microsoft 365 proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Paralegal degree or 3–5 years of paralegal experience in-house or at a firm.
• Paralegal Certification required or partly completed; notary in Ohio preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 apps and document management systems.
• Able to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft, organize, and maintain legal documents and corporate records.
• Coordinate internal approvals and maintain supporting documentation.
• Conduct legal research and advise stakeholders on applicable laws.
• Draft executive communications, presentations, and departmental reports.
• Assist with entity formation, governance documents, and amendments.
• Support Fair Housing compliance and reasonable accommodation requests.
• Leverage AI tools to improve productivity and workflow.
• Manage legal files, document execution, and closing processes.
• Oversee outside counsel billing and department budgeting.
• Coordinate with external partners and internal teams for legal support.
