Job summary

Carpe, the fastest growing deodorant brand in the US, is seeking a in-house video producer in Durham, NC. You will own end-to-end paid social video production, from concept through post, collaborating with a supportive creative team.

You’ll find talent, direct shoots, coach on camera, and move quickly to test and iterate based on performance data. You don’t need to be on camera yourself; you will craft engaging content across formats and styles, balancing speed with quality in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Made short form video, ideally ads for paid social.
• Portfolio you can show, with some sense of how the work performed (sales, signups, spend).
• Comfort directing and coaching people on camera.
• You can cut a rough version yourself when that is faster (Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Make great ads.
• Direct shoots with real people, creators, and professional talent.
• Concept and create across a wide range of styles and formats.
• Move between an iPhone in a parking lot and a lit studio set with ease.
• Keep enough ideas queued that we are never waiting on something to shoot.
• Organize footage and guide editors to bring content to life.
• Own shoots end to end: budgets, casting, locations, props, gear, schedule.
