Job summary

Qualifications

• OTA licensure must be active in state(s) of practice.
• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain licensure and certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular screening of residents to determine best intervention or treatment.
• Implement treatment plans and follow short- and long-term goals per plan of care.
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings and recommendations to residents and families.
• Establish individual resident therapy schedules in cooperation with team members.
• Document and bill occupational therapy services per CMS standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned to effectively treat patients.
