Good Samaritan Health Care Center in Yakima, WA is seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate, plan, and administer therapy services in line with applicable standards. You will collaborate with therapists and clinicians to provide thorough patient care and maintain precise documentation.

The role involves developing treatment goals, delivering therapeutic procedures, coordinating with physicians, and guiding patients through functional activities and home exercise programs.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in OT from an accredited institution.
• Current, unrestricted OT license in assigned state.
• Experience in an in-house rehab care model is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Assist therapists by providing training and guidance to technicians.
• Maintain documentation of all treatment and prepare required reports.
• Provide therapeutic procedures and full range of services for patient referrals.
• Develop realistic treatment goals aligned with referring staff.
• Administer exercises and instruct patients in activities and device use.
• Record treatment, response and progress in patient records and teach home programs.
• Coordinate treatment with physicians to adjust plans as needed.
