Job summary

MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital is seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate, plan, and implement therapy for in-patients and outpatients. You will apply your clinical judgment to deliver comprehensive occupational therapy care in a dynamic, team-based setting.

The role requires WA OT licensure, current BLS certification, and typically at least one year of experience; schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, with Day shift and a 1.0 FTE commitment.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of Washington.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum one year of prior occupational therapy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform well in stress and emergency situations.
• Conduct patient evaluations and re-evaluations; establish and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Provide outpatient and/or inpatient occupational therapy interventions.
• Document care in the medical record timely and accurately.
• Communicate effectively with patients and other health professionals to coordinate care.
