Job summary

Evolve-Therapy-Services in Kissimmee, FL seeks a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide in-house therapy at our skilled nursing facility. The position offers a flexible schedule: Full Time, Part Time, or PRN, with supervision of a COTA and collaboration across the care team.

You will assess residents, develop and implement treatment plans, document care, and coordinate with families and staff to ensure quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must have an OT degree and active licensure in the practicing state(s).
• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain licensure.

Responsibilities

• Screen residents to determine best intervention or treatment.
• Evaluate residents and develop short- and long-term goals.
• Interpret evaluation findings and communicate with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Establish individual therapy schedules with team members.
• Perform therapy per plan and ensure proper documentation and billing.
• Oversee COTA and ensure documentation and treatments meet clinical and reimbursement standards.
• Carry out other duties as required to effectively treat patients.
