Empower Associates, LLC is seeking a seasoned Georgia-licensed litigation attorney to own a high-volume docket of commercial and civil disputes. This in-house role covers end-to-end matters from evaluation to post-judgment collection with direct access to legal leadership.

The attorney will handle fee recovery, contract enforcement, and customer non-payment disputes, partnering with executives to align legal strategy with business goals in a hybrid Atlanta-area office.

Formación

• Active Georgia bar membership required.
• Minimum 5 years in dispute resolution or litigation.
• Experience managing disputes end-to-end from filing to collection.
• Excellent research, drafting, and negotiation skills.
• Commercial mindset with business context.

Responsabilidades

• Handle a high-volume docket of commercial and civil disputes through litigation, mediation, arbitration, and negotiation.
• Prepare and review pleadings, demand letters, settlements, and related documents.
• Appear on behalf of the company and coordinate with outside counsel as needed.
• Design resolution strategies aligned with operational and financial objectives.
• Negotiate settlements to maximize recovery while controlling costs.
• Build and improve internal dispute-management processes.
• Track legal spend, cycle times, and recovery outcomes.
• Collaborate with Executive Leadership, Operations, and Finance on cash flow and risk priorities.
• Expand in-house capabilities to reduce dependence on outside counsel.
