Job summary

Credibly, a leading small business lender, seeks an Associate Attorney to join our in-house litigation team in Tempe, AZ. Under supervision of the Senior Associate Attorney, you will represent the company in commercial accounts and related proceedings, drafting documents, reviewing discovery, and guiding the in-house team.

The role requires AZ bar license, 1–3 years civil litigation/trial experience (debt collection, FDCPA, TCPA a plus).

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice law in AZ.
• 1–3 years of civil litigation/trial experience.
• Experience with debt collection, FDCPA, TCPA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts and litigation as in-house counsel.
• Represent and defend the Company in courts of law; collect facts and evidence, try cases.
• Draft, review, and approve documents through the litigation life cycle.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
• Attend court hearings; assist in pre-suit and post-judgment matters.
• Collaborate with compliance and collections teams to enhance processes.
