Life Fitness / Hammer Strength is seeking a Commercial Contracts Paralegal to support the Legal Department in managing commercial contracts from intake to signature. This hybrid role is based at our Rosemont, IL hub, with in-office days Tuesday-Thursday and remote Monday/Friday.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of paralegal experience focused on commercial contracts, with strong risk awareness and excellent communication to explain legal concepts to business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years supporting commercial contracts as a paralegal.
• Experience in corporate or in-house legal environments preferred.
• Strong understanding of commercial contracts and common provisions.
• Ability to balance legal risk with business priorities.
• Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking in fast-paced settings.

Responsabilités

• Partner with Sales, Commercial, and leadership to support deal execution from intake to signature.
• Review and support negotiation of MSAs, order forms, SOWs, amendments, and NDAs.
• Identify contractual risks and propose practical solutions.
• Manage a high volume of contracts by prioritizing requests.
• Maintain templates, playbooks, and CLM workflows.
• Coordinate with Sales Ops, Finance, Pricing, and Procurement on terms and approvals.
• Track contract status and cycle times for leadership insights.
• Support compliance with confidentiality, data protection, and indemnification.
• Assist with contract interpretation and legal research.
• Identify opportunities to improve contracting processes.
