Job summary

Mortgage Solutions Financial (MSF) seeks a General Attorney as an in-house generalist in Colorado Springs, reporting to the CAO and General Counsel. The role covers corporate governance, mortgage origination/servicing, regulatory compliance, litigation oversight, and contract work.

You will lead a small legal team, advise senior leadership, and ensure timely, practical legal guidance across all MSF business lines.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from ABA-accredited school required.
• Active bar admission; ability to obtain Colorado licensure.
• 1–3 years for General Attorney I; 3–6 for II; 6+ for III.

Responsibilities

• Provide broad in-house legal counsel across MSF lines and departments.
• Oversee mortgage origination, servicing, banking compliance, and risk.
• Manage litigation, disputes, and supervise paralegals.
• Draft and negotiate commercial contracts and vendor agreements.
• Advise on HR, employment, and regulatory matters.
