Job summary

CI Design, Inc. in Boston, MA is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join our in-house IT team. You will support the IT Manager and users across six office locations, troubleshooting software and hardware issues and ensuring smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• Some IT Help Desk Support experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a patient, service-oriented approach.
• Attention to detail in recording ticketing system information and following procedures.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and creative thinking skills.
• Relevant training or experience required.
• Ability to work after hours and weekends if necessary or required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting problems and responding to users’ inquiries.
• Managing tickets from creation to completion.
• Password resets.
• Software installation on users’ devices.
• Hardware troubleshooting including peripherals and monitor issues.
• Overseeing IT service desk operations and customer support.
• Participate in IT projects such as hardware refreshes and OS upgrades.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
