Job summary

Birch Creek Energy, a rapidly growing solar development company headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, seeks a Corporate Counsel with 3–5 years of transactional experience.

You will draft and negotiate construction and operations-related agreements and support corporate matters for a fast-paced renewables platform. Base duties include negotiating master subcontracts, AMAs, NDAs, and service agreements while coordinating with EPC, O&M, and finance teams.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant transactional legal experience, including drafting and negotiating construction, supply, or subcontract agreements.
• Hands-on experience with O&M and asset management contracting for operating renewable assets.
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills with ability to manage multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate master subcontracts, master supply agreements, O&M, AMAs, and service agreements.
• Coordinate change orders and ensure documentation of scope, schedule, and cost adjustments.
• Resolve contract performance issues, including warranty, delay, and disputes with contractors and suppliers.
• Track key obligations and milestones across a portfolio of contracts.
• Support general corporate matters and coordinate with outside counsel as needed.
