Rosecrance, Inc. seeks an Associate General Counsel to own regulatory, HIPAA privacy, and transactional work. This in-house role embeds with operations and handles governance as the nonprofit grows through affiliations. JD and IL license required; healthcare regulation and privacy expertise essential; in-house experience a plus.

You will support mergers, affiliations, and regulatory matters across states, partnering with clinical operations to guide day-to-day decisions and ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active IL law license (or in Rosecrance’s operating states).
• Healthcare regulatory experience in behavioral health or related field.
• Experience with HIPAA as Privacy Officer or equivalent.
• Some transactional or corporate experience; fast-moving operations.
• In-house experience at a growing healthcare organization preferred.
• Not-for-profit governance and multi-entity compliance experience.

Responsabilités

• Serve as Rosecrance's HIPAA Privacy Officer and lead privacy program.
• Advise operations on privacy questions and investigations.
• Support mergers, affiliations, and transactions, incl. due diligence.
• Maintain corporate governance across not-for-profit and LLC entities.
• Manage licensing, certification, and program requirements across states.
• Collaborate with clinical ops to address regulatory issues early.
