Job summary

Kin Capital Partners, LLC in Lafayette, LA seeks an in-house counsel to own a broad portfolio of day-to-day legal work. You’ll handle contracts, acquisitions, employment matters, real estate, and governance with real authority to decide and to escalate when needed.

You’ll draft, review, and negotiate across operating companies, support LOI to closing, advise on employment and real estate issues, and develop templates and playbooks. AI tools are used to speed and standardize work.

Qualifications

• J.D. from ABA-accredited law school required or equivalent.
• Louisiana license preferred for in-house Lafayette role.
• Experience in corporate and commercial transactions strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate customer, supplier, vendor, and equipment agreements across operating companies.
• Support acquisitions from LOI through closing: diligence, purchase agreements, financing, integration.
• Advise on employment matters—hiring, discipline, separations, policy, in compliance with law.
