Job summary

Seven Seas Water Group seeks an Assistant General Counsel to support the enterprise, reporting to the Chief Legal and Compliance Officer. You will handle governance, contracting, procurement, compliance, and claims for a growing multinational infrastructure platform.

You will draft and negotiate contracts, advise executives on regulatory and policy matters, and drive privacy/data protection efforts while coordinating with outside counsel as needed.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and Florida licensure in good standing, or eligibility under in-house rules.
• Located in Tampa, Florida.
• 7–9 years of legal experience in-house or at a firm.
• Strong business judgment and stakeholder collaboration.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to manage high-volume matters and competing priorities.
• Must complete conflict-of-interest clearance before starting.
• Spanish language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, vendor and supplier agreements.
• Partner with procurement on third-party relationships from sourcing through renewal.
• Review and refine customer-facing documents, forms, letters, and disclosures.
• Counsel executives on regulatory affairs, employment questions, policy, and IP protection.
• Manage disputes with outside counsel where needed.
