Qualifications

• 6–9 years of legal experience in commercial contracting, construction, procurement, infrastructure, energy, or environmental matters.
• Experience drafting and negotiating EPC, design-build, O&M, BOO/BOOT, or municipal and wholesale supply contracts.
• Familiarity with public procurement and competitive bidding; water/infrastructure sector preferred.
• Ability to handle multiple issues and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with professional interaction at all levels.
• Conflict-of-interest clearance required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial water and wastewater agreements for AUC Group across BOO/BOOT, leases, Water-as-a-Service, design-build, and O&M contracts.
• Supporting procurement, RFP bids, confidentiality agreements, and pre-bid arrangements.
• Providing regulatory and permitting support for drinking-water and wastewater compliance.
• Managing contract disputes, including drafting letters and coordinating outside counsel in litigation/arbitration.
• Supporting corporate governance, NDAs, personnel matters, and compliance programs.
• Collaborating with business, operations, procurement, and project-development teams to apply practical risk-management.
