Job summary

The Romanoff Group is seeking an Associate Counsel to join our growing in-house team in Ohio. You will partner with executive leadership to provide practical legal guidance across construction, corporate, and employment matters in a fast-paced multi-state environment.

Reporting to the Senior Vice President and General Counsel, you will help navigate regulatory compliance, risk management, and real estate matters while supporting ESOP administration and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in at least one jurisdiction.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and sound judgment.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with teams across departments.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate construction contracts, subcontractor agreements, supplier contracts, and other business agreements with risk mitigation.
• Provide practical legal support across internal departments and assist with claims and dispute resolution.
