Job summary

ISC Constructors, LLC is seeking a Corporate Attorney – Construction & Commercial to join its in-house Legal Department on a hybrid basis. This role partners with operations and corporate teams to identify and mitigate legal and commercial risk while supporting efficient business execution.

The attorney will work on construction and commercial contracts, claims, regulatory compliance, and legal initiatives, providing practical guidance to business professionals with an emphasis on project

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active license in good standing to practice law in a relevant jurisdiction.
• Approximately 5–8 years of relevant legal experience, with construction law exposure.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex construction and commercial contracts.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft, redline, and negotiate customer contracts and commercial agreements.
• Advise on contract risk and provisions including indemnification, liability limits, and payment terms.
• Develop and maintain contract templates and clause playbooks.
• Support contract lifecycle management processes and internal approvals.
• Coordinate with project teams on notices, change orders, and claims.
• Manage construction claims, disputes, and outside counsel as needed.
• Support licensing, registrations, insurance, and regulatory requirements.
