Milan Laser Hair Removal is seeking an Assistant General Counsel to join its growing in-house Legal team. This role offers broad, hands-on practice across contract review, professional liability, employment matters, and entity management for a multi-state footprint.

Ideal candidate has 1–3 years of experience, J.D., and an active license. This position provides meaningful ownership early in your in‑house career within a fast-growing, physician-backed company.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in good standing (Nebraska bar preferred or ability to obtain reciprocity)
• 1–3 years of relevant legal experience (in-house, law firm, or both)
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills
• Solid understanding of civil litigation processes, including discovery and related disputes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate legal concepts for non-legal audiences
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple matters and deadlines

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, revise, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements
• Identify and flag risks in contract terms and recommend redlines
• Maintain contract templates, playbooks, and clause libraries
• Support professional liability and employment practices litigation management
• Maintain entity governance, filings, and records across states
• Provide practical, business-oriented legal guidance to internal teams
• Assist with special projects and process improvements
