Surge AI is seeking an IP and Data Privacy Counsel to guide the legal aspects of data ownership, privacy, and AI content. This in-house role places you near the frontier of AI law, working directly with the General Counsel to shape programs rather than inherit them.

You will advise on US and EU/UK privacy, manage filings, draft agreements, track evolving regulation, and coordinate with product, engineering, and HR to move fast while staying compliant.

Qualifikationen

• 5-10 years of experience as a lawyer (mid-level associate or higher) or in-house.

• Advise on data privacy across US and EU/UK law; build and maintain privacy program, notices, DPAs, and cross-border transfer approaches.
• Handle privacy filings and registrations; respond to regulators, customers, and contributors.
