Job summary

Personic Health seeks a dedicated Medical Assistant to support Nurse Practitioners and clinical teams in delivering in-home wound care in Montgomery, AL. The role focuses on seamless patient visits, accurate clinical documentation, and efficient care coordination.

Candidates should be CMA or RMA (or equivalent) with experience in wound care or home health. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential for success in this on-site, full-time position.

Qualifications

• CMA or RMA preferred; CMA/RMA or equivalent experience accepted.
• Experience in wound care, home health or skilled nursing valued.
• Strong medical terminology and clinical skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers during in-home patient visits, including preparing supplies and documenting care.
• Facilitate telehealth visits in the home as needed.
• Support clinical team with wound photography, staging, dressing setup, and record keeping.
• Maintain accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• Ensure supplies and equipment are stocked and available for visits.
• Act as a professional point of contact for patients, families, and partners.
• Coordinate with scheduling, operations, and clinical leadership for efficient workflows.
• Follow HIPAA, infection control standards, and company policies.
• Assist with follow-ups, care coordination, and general admin tasks.
