Job summary

Andersen is hiring Design Consultants in the Capital Region to deliver a world-class homeowner experience through in-home sales consultations lasting about 90 minutes. They showcase Renewal by Andersen’s window and door options and guide customers to the best solution.

New hires begin as Design Consultant Trainees in a multi-week program with classroom and hands-on training, then advance to full Design Consultant after successful completion and testing.

Qualifications

• Must have valid state driver’s license or ability to obtain an in-home state license.
• Ability to lift/move items weighing up to 53 pounds from ground to tabletop level.
• Strong persuasive sales skills and ability to close.
• Excellent interpersonal communication; provide world-class homeowner experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home sales consultations using an iPad and AR to design window/door solutions.
• Drive personal vehicle to in-home appointments up to 1,800–2,500 miles per month.
• Attend and participate in sales meetings and branch meetings.
• Support sales process with documentation, order changes, and follow-up.
