Bumble Bee Blinds in Houston is seeking a Sales Consultant to sell window coverings to residential and commercial clients. You will build a clientele, drive sales revenue, and uphold standards of quality and professionalism.

A successful candidate will be personable, organized, ambitious, and customer-service oriented, with strong listening and communication skills and a sales-driven mindset to present innovative solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in self-generated lead sales, commercial sales, or customer service.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including and understanding of basic grammar and writing.
• Very detail-oriented, organized, and can keep efficient notes and records.
• Strong working knowledge of common computer software including MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and CRM programs.

Responsibilities

• Provides reliable, high-quality customer support.
• Drive leads. Conduct lead-generation activities like local canvassing.
• Perform in-home consultations, and customer instruction on various window covering options and functionality, to provide estimates.
• Build and nurture strong networking relationships with new clients, existing clients, interior designers, realtors, and builders in the market.
• Responsible for maintaining, updating, and communicating client data, project status, and job details.
• Utilizes customer information, materials, and support to ensure efficient execution of assigned tasks.
• Completes and submits all required task-related activities, productivity, and other documentation in a timely manner.
• Maintain constant communication between all departments, as well as customers, on current work orders.
• Participate in regular sales meetings, webinars, and trainings.
• Arrive on time to work and any/all appointments and meeting
