Job summary

Best Buy is seeking an In-Home Installation Technician to deliver, install, integrate and troubleshoot tech products in customers’ homes. You’ll partner with Geek Squad Agents and other teams to meet strategy and initiatives.

You will advise customers on lifestyle solutions, perform installations, setups and networking, and handle associated duties including inventory and safety compliance. A valid driver’s license and lifting capability are required.

Qualifications

• 6 months of customer service experience
• 6 months of consumer electronics delivery, installation, integration and troubleshooting experience
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, 150 pounds with a team, 250 pounds with tools
• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license
• Ability to acquire state/local licensing within 90 days
• Must be comfortable with two-person job leadership and solo work when required

Responsibilities

• Provide a seamless customer experience by advising on product and service recommendations
• Fulfill on delivery, installation, integration, networking and troubleshooting tasks for consumer electronics
• Lead two-person jobs and perform related tasks independently when needed
• Manage inventory, vehicle maintenance, paperwork, and adhere to safety guidelines
