Job summary

Chimes is seeking a dedicated caregiver to support adults with developmental disabilities in a residential setting. You will provide hands-on assistance, implement program plans, administer medications, and ensure safety and dignity in daily living activities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must have a driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull adequate weight to assist individuals (may be >50 pounds).
• CPR and basic medical knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in the residence of a person served as a personal support, engaging with them in home and community activities.
• Provide supervision and training to adults with developmental disabilities toward their goals.
• Ensure individualized house personalization and adherence to program plans.
• Teach independence in daily living tasks and limit personal activities during work time.
• Communicate medical concerns to the RN and supervisor promptly.
• Administer medications per PMOF and MAR with three-way checks.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of the home and manage records and reports.
• Transport persons served to appointments and activities; handle funds as required.
