Chimes, a not-for-profit organization serving people with intellectual and behavioral challenges, seeks a dedicated caregiver to provide personal support in residents' homes and community settings. You will supervise, coach, and assist with daily living skills while ensuring safety and adherence to individual plans.

Responsibilities include medication administration, program coordination, and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must have a driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift, pull, and push adequate weight to assist individuals.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal support in the residence of a person served and engage with them in home and community activities.
• Supervise and train adults with developmental disabilities to promote growth per individual plans.
• Ensure the house is personalized to each person's preferences.
• Teach individuals to perform tasks themselves and avoid personal distractions during work.
• Communicate with day program staff about individual programs as needed.
• Maintain safety, administer medications as prescribed, and monitor health needs.
• Transport individuals to appointments and activities and assist with daily living skills.
