Job summary

Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota is hiring an In-Home Direct Support Professional to guide, encourage, and support individuals with disabilities in their homes or communities. You will help develop and monitor individual plans and promote essential living skills while maintaining documentation and participating in trainings as required.

Candidates should have a valid driver's license, pass a background check, and hold CPR/First Aid certification if possible.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and a Motor Vehicle Check.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance, encouragement, support, comfort, security and safety through relationship building and direct interaction.
• Support individuals in their homes or community and assist in developing and monitoring individual plans.
