Job summary

New Horizons is seeking an In-Home Support employee for the 3rd shift in Batesville, IN to help adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities reach their personal goals.

You may assist with household tasks, grooming, meals, and participation in community activities, providing compassionate, patient support.

Full-time benefits include PTO/holiday pay, life insurance, and a 401(k) with company match after one year.

Qualifications

• Eighteen (18) years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Complete required training including First Aid/CPR certification.
• Drug Test and TB test required.
• Background report and driving record required.

Responsibilities

• In-Home Support employees assist adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to reach individual goals.
• Assist clients with household tasks (meal preparation, laundry, cleaning, decorating).
• Assist with physical needs (grooming, eating) and participation in community events and activities.
