In‑Home Staff Physical Therapist – Indianapolis

Select Physical Therapy is seeking an In-Home Staff Physical Therapist in Indianapolis. We are looking for a licensed and experienced, compassionate, and driven therapist who will travel to various home care settings, clinics, doctors’ offices, and patients’ homes to provide in‑home rehabilitation services and help patients return to a healthy, active life.

Schedule: Monday through Friday
Compensation: Competitive rates $50-55 per hour based on years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and administer physical therapy treatment for patients suffering from injuries, muscle, nerve, joint, and bone disorders or diagnoses to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability.
• Travel to different home care settings, between clinics, doctors’ offices, and to patients’ homes.
• Evaluate the home environment for rehab and make recommendations to increase independence.
• Develop, prepare, and maintain individualized client care progress records with accuracy and timeliness, according to agency policy and procedures.
• Supervise physical therapy assistants by directing, participating in, and presenting continuing education programs; and assume administrative/supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the director.
• Educate clients/caregivers and health care teams about the phases of physical therapy, prosthetic and orthotic device use, and durable medical equipment, as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Licensed physical therapist in the state of employment.
• Minimum two years of experience as a physical therapist.
• Automobile liability insurance and current unrestricted driver’s license.
• CPR certification or complete training required.
