Job summary

Theracare in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Physical Therapist to join a dedicated therapy team serving Skilled Nursing Facilities, outpatient, long-term care, and home health settings.

You will evaluate and treat patients per physician orders, using therapies to restore strength, coordination, alignment, and movement with a focus on function. There is flexible scheduling and PRN hours to support local management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or advanced degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current registration with the American Physical Therapy Certification Board.
• Prefer minimum one year experience in rehabilitation.
• Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients in accordance with physician orders using therapeutic procedures to restore strength, coordination, body alignment, and function.
• Work as a member of a therapy team across Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities or Home Health Care.
• Demonstrate knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

The Physical Therapist would evaluate and treat patients, in accordance with the orders from the physician, through the use of a variety of therapeutic procedures designed to restore loss of muscle strength, coordination, body alignment, to relieve pain, improve movement and function. The Physical Therapist will work as a member of a team providing support and information within the area of Physical Therapy. The Physical Therapist will provide therapy services in locations including, but not limited to, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities or Home Health Care.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor of Science or advanced degree in Physical Therapy

Current registration with the American Physical Therapy Certification Board

Prefer minimum one (1) year experience in rehabilitation

Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills

Willingness to provide therapy services in locations including, but not limited to, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities or Home Health Care

Demonstrate competency in applying the principles, methods, materials and equipment used in specific therapy discipline

Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements
