Overview

In-Home Staff Physical Therapist position in Indianapolis. Travel to different home care settings, between centers, doctor’s offices, and to patients’ homes for therapy treatments. Licensed and experienced, compassionate, and driven Physical Therapist. We provide preventative and rehabilitative services in the home to improve the quality of life for the community in which they live and work.

Schedule: Monday through Friday

Compensation: Salary starts at $74,000

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, plans, and administers physical therapy treatment for patients with injuries, muscle, nerve, joint, and bone disorders or diagnoses to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability.
• Travel to different home care settings, between clinics, doctor’s offices, and patients’ homes.
• Evaluates the home environment for rehab and makes appropriate recommendations to increase the client’s independence.
• Develop, prepare, and maintain individualized client care progress records with accuracy and timeliness, in accordance with agency policy and procedures.
• SSupervise physical therapy assistants by directing, participating in, and presenting continuing education programs; assume administrative/supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the director.
• Educate clients, caregivers, and health care teams in phases of physical therapy, use of prosthetic and orthotic devices, and durable medical equipment as appropriate.
• Licensed physical therapist in the state of employment.
• Minimum two years of experience as a physical therapist.
• Automobile liability insurance and current unrestricted driver’s license.
• CPR certification or complete training required.
