Job summary

CommonSpirit Health at Home seeks a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our Florence, KY team on a PRN basis. You will assess, diagnose and treat patients at home with speech, language, and swallowing disorders, and develop individualized plans while collaborating with families and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license with CCC-SLP, CPR/BLS certification, one year of clinical experience, and a valid driver’s

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active registered SLP license in the state you practice with CCC-SLP certification from ASHA.
• Must obtain and maintain CPR/BLS Certification.
• One year of Speech Therapy experience in a clinical setting.
• Current Driver’s License.
• Comply with federal, state and local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy to patients in their homes, including techniques to improve speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing skills.
• Customize therapy strategies to meet individual patient goals and objectives.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment goals, and outcomes in accordance with regulatory requirements and standards.
• Provide training and support for family members to assist with therapeutic exercise and strategies at home.
