Job summary

CommonSpirit Health at Home seeks a skilled Speech Language Pathologist (PRN) to assess, diagnose, and treat patients in their homes for speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders, developing individualized plans in collaboration with families and healthcare professionals.

Requires a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology, active state SLP license with CCC-SLP from ASHA, CPR/BLS certification, and at least one year of clinical experience; must have a valid driver's

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active registered SLP license in the state which you practice and certification (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Must obtain and maintain current CPR/BLS Certification
• One-year Speech Therapy experience in a clinical setting.
• Current Drivers License
• Comply with federal, state and local laws and regulations

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy to patients in their homes, including techniques to improve speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing skills.
• Customize therapy strategies to meet individual patient goals and objectives.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment goals, and outcomes in accordance with regulatory requirements and standards.
• Provide training and support for family members to assist with therapeutic exercise and strategies at home
