Qualifications

• Current valid state Speech Therapy license required
• Master’s/Bachelor’s Level Graduate in Speech Therapy or Speech Pathology from an accredited university or college required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology required
• One year of work experience
• Prior home health experience preferred
• For Medicare Certified Agencies: CCC or in process of obtaining required certification

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan and administer speech therapy modalities for patients with speech, voice, language, cognitive-communication and swallowing disorders at the patient’s residence.
• Follow physician prescriptions and provide therapy to improve or restore speech/swallow functions.
• Work under pressure to meet deadlines and adapt to changing situations.
• Adhere to all licensing board requirements and Benefis Health System policies.
