Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology is required.
- Active Florida SLP license is required.
- Home health experience preferred.
- Knowledge of OASIS documentation is a plus.
- CPR certification is required.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive evaluations and OASIS assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, and dysphagia disorders.
- Accurately document visits in accordance with Medicare guidelines.
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and compensatory strategies.
- Communicate effectively with physicians and care team members.
